This course features as part of our Fast Track Instructor Course; the qualification gained is awarded is from the MIAS or Mountain Bike Instructor Award Scheme.  On this course combined with the Mountain Leader Training it is possible to get to Level 2 within four days enabling you to take groups on bridleways on places such as low moorland like Dartmoor and to lead groups on prepared trails and single track in woodlands.  It is also possible to take this course as a standalone for those who already hold Mountain leader Training or the BELA award and who have the sufficient skills and fitness levels.  For those with less mountain and outdoors leading experience and navigation skills it is possible to take the Level 1 assessment instead which still enable you to lead groups on prepared trails that aren’t remote.


Equipment
We provide bikes and helmet if you are part of the Fast Track Instructor Course otherwise you will be expected to provide your Bike and maintenance equipment (Bikes are available to hire as well as Helmets).
