Basic first aid is a minimum requirement and responsibility of not only everyone who works in the outdoors but everyone generally.  Four Points Adventure has courses to suit everyone whether they work in an office or in the mountains.

8 Hour - Appointed Person First Aid
24 Hour - First Aid in the Work Place


8 Hr - Appointed Person First Aid
This one day course is really a minimum responsibility for everyone in the workplace whatever your profession.  It covers basic first aid principles, importantly including CPR.


24 Hour - First Aid in the Work Place
The minimum requirement for most NGB Awards in the UK is to have a first aid qualification that has a minimum of 16 hrs contact time, covers CPR and has a form of assessment.  This qualification: HSE (Health and Safety Executive) First Aid in the Workplace has 24 hours of contact time making it more comprehensive and as it is taught by Instructors who also teach in the outdoor industry it remains relevant.  This is of particular importance to those who are doing this qualification as part of our Fast Track Instructor Course.


Equipment
We will provide all equipment and you will also receive a comprehensive first aid manual to keep your knowledge fresh and to help stop fade.
